A Noble Mission
The NLVG is a national golf league organizing as a 501(c)(3) charity with a noble mission:
combat PTSD and suicide in the veteran and first responder communities by fighting
isolation with epic golf events. Camaraderie is the medicine. Golf is how we deliver it.
The XXII on our crest is struck through for a reason —
twenty-two veteran suicides a day is twenty-two too many. We fight that number
one tee time at a time.
What an NLVG Event Looks Like
Every event has 72–144 golfers. Shotgun starts. Team format.
Prizes. Food. Beverages. Camaraderie.
Team Golf
18-hole shotgun-start days in four-person team formats — scramble, alternate shot, and more. No individual scorecards. Nobody plays alone, everybody finishes together.
Fed & Fueled All Day
Breakfast at check-in, grilled food at the turn, beverage service on the course, and stocked coolers waiting on every par 3.
Contests & Prizes
Long drive, closest to the pin, putting contests, low team score, and a 50/50 raffle where state law permits.
Honor & Tradition
Every event opens with the League ceremony and includes a missing-man recognition for the brothers and sisters we've lost.
Membership Cost for Verified Veterans & First Responders
FREE.
Verified U.S. veterans and first responders are full, voting members — eligible for
office at every level. Verification through ID.me at enrollment.
Members pay only an event entry fee — and sponsorship and fundraising exist to drive that
fee as close to zero as possible. The wallet is never the reason to stay home.
Cart mates for 18, brothers for life — every NLVG round ends at the 19th hole with cold drinks, tall tales, and nobody sitting alone.
